Awesome quality, fantastic service from Andrew, are you thinking custom made or off the shelf?

Nick Marsh at Superbikesource is their local dealer. He has a few suits to try on.

We didn't find Andrew as fantastic to deal with as Rob did. Basically, everything was a bit vague when ordering and we didn't get told that you could order different colours and were encouraged to get a suit that they had on special because they were trying to offload them. It didn't fit Leanne, but she was impatient and wore them for one day at the Barry Sheen Festival of Speed anyway. They got media coverage out of that one day by Leanne having a half page article written about her in AMCN and a large picture of her in the Ricondi leathers and plastered it all over Facebook to advertise their product. Rather than look after us, Andrew wanted to charge a bucketload more money to take back the shit fitting suit and make up a new suit that would fit her in the right colours. It would have ended up costing us more than a custom set of Gimoto leathers in the end, so we didn't take up his 'offer'. As a result, we got Mick from Mick's Fix Leathers to take 8 inches from the arms and shoulders so they would fit and took most of the Ricondi labels off the suit. Andrew didn't exactly rip us off, he sold us a suit at a reasonable price, but his advice was shit and when given the opportunity to work out a deal to look after us after we gave him a heap of free advertising and encouraging a couple of other people to buy Ricondi suits, he tried to get more money out of us and call it a special deal. We know how cheap they get these suits made and he could have given us a custom set and still been in front, but instead, he wanted to charge us retail and try to make more money. I need new Road and track leathers and I won't be getting Ricondi simply because I didn't like the way he operated.

My suit was made to order, he even questioned some of the measurements and he was totally right about making small changes for a better fit, he spent quite a bit of time to make sure everything was right & it paid off for me, wow its interesting to get such different service between Leanne & myself, I had a look at the quality of the Gimoto & The Ricondi & picked the latter even after knowing the hassle Leanne went through :?

Do they triple stitch the seams in the arms and legs? Always a good test of a decent set of leathers.

If he had done the same with us and looked after us better he would have sold 3 sets of leathers instead of 1. It left a bad enough taste in my mouth that I would rather spend more to get another brand than buy any of his stuff now.
