If four seams came apart with a slow speed off, my advice is to ditch the Joe Rocket leathers and get a decent set. There was a bad batch of Joe Rocket leathers a while ago that had shit stitching and would blow apart in a crash. I had a set that opened up like a banana and there were heaps of others at the time as well. The problem was apparently the glue not doing its job (a faulty batch) and they were sewn with cotton instead of stronger thread and the stitching would just rip apart in a crash. If yours are a set from this batch, I would ditch them as you can't trust that they will hold up when you need them.
