this is my new helmet i purchased for $409.00,
And im very impressed, compared to my $700 shoei tzr
Its quiet, comfy and has a pin lock system plus a built in drop down sun vizor,
I love all bikes, but the naked ones get me going

The vision is incredable, i would have to say 30% better than shoei, i think with shoei you are paying for the name

Mate I got mine about a year ago now. Matte black. And love it. Had an arai before and at first the shark wasn't as plush but I can wear it now all day no dramas

Yeah another SHARK fan/owner here!
Kermit i like Redding's helmet too! :)
Also like Guintoli's helmet too but doesn't appear to be available to the public. Nothing listed on the SHARK website.

Bought the son the same Speed-R as Cshat and I bought the Fujing. Tried a couple of others, but felt the Sharks were more comfortable & fitted better.

Doesn't hurt that the colour scheme matches the bike either ;p

This is my new one. Very comfortable. I have a shoei as well. Like them both equally.

Yep, I've had Shoei/AGV/Suomy and Shark. Shark is the best hands down... Hopefully I'll be getting a new one soon too! :kuda:

This is what I have my eyes on atm, simple stuff but I like it.

Also a Shoei convert......
I have a Shark RSF-2 race, a Vision-R and am wondering what this will like in the flesh
It was released OS a few months ago and is currently going through the approval process at the Aussie Safety Standards.
Should be released here in another couple of months.
........Opinions ???????

Back in April I got the email from Shark, I went to Hawkebury Honda and BikeBiz Granville.
They both contacted the importer, while I was standing in front of them.
HH said it's due for release around August / September, BB said September / October.
However Shark sent me the promo email again last week, so maybe the release has been bought forward. I'll check on it again.

Buying a Shark lid myself, is on back order currently, can't justify the $700 for a Shoei anymore.
A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"
