The future or just another one hit wonder?

Reflective mirrors in the lid giving you a rear view.

Bikebiz are selling them for $545, if anyone wants to check it out.

Apparently it's all done with mirrors :D

Looks interesting, not sure about the reducing your laptimes benefit though.
Saw them in MCAS on the weekend. They're a little odd looking but not too bad on the flesh

How does seeing behind you reduce laptimes?
More like increase crashes by people trying to go faster when someone is gaining on them.

Why are MA doing adds for Reevu helmets.. I thought they were an "independant" body... :-)

MA independent? Given the very large majority of their funding is from government I don't see how that could be. As for why they are plugging them, I "believe" their riders division is offering it's members a discount on said helmet and "probably" getting a kickback too.

I tried Pete's one on at the xmas trackday. It was way too distracting, not a good idea in my opinion, road or track!

agree 100%. Just another gimmick. Useless on the track - if you need mirrors to see who is behind you, give up racing and stick to track days. Useless on the street - if you need mirrors to see who is behind you - use your fucking mirrors !!!
