Collins Leathers - Again

Tue Mar 06, 2012 6:47 am

I just bought myself a new set of Collins two piece leathers. My old ones were a bit big in the arse after I'd lost a bit of weight and it was time for an upgrade. My old ones hadn't worn out though after about 7 years of use.

Anyway the pants were on special for $199 and I got the jacket for $369 so $568 plus postage $30 for an absolute top quality suit. The Suzuka jacket has got pockets everywhere too so extremely useful. This is the third set of Collins leathers I've bought and every time they've been dead spot on with sizing and their customer service is absolutely sensational.

So if you need any gear check out their Ebay store or give Phil or Josie a call.

Check their Gloves out too. Best value gloves on the market

Dave's been doing it a long time. He is also a racer. Specialises in 125gp's. Was very fecking handy too I might add. So he knows what a suit should do and how it should fit. I used to do the Frank Thomas stuff with him. He's not only good at the bike gear, he's also probably the funniest guy I have ever met. Seriously funny guy. The amount of nights I have spent with tears rolling down my face and my guts hurting from laughing so much is incredible. I've got some very, very, very funny stories I can share about our time working together. But, it's not for print!!!

I have a Collins jacket and it's perfect for me. It's a little heavy but I guess that's normal for cow hide coupled with all that armour etc.
Very happy with it. Purchased from the Helmet Warehouse in Yagoona, Sydney.
Also purchased a real nice Shoei helmet. Helmet was one grand alone. Norrick Abe replica. Beaudifull !! :D
