clown feet and road boots

Postby dickfaber » Fri Oct 28, 2011 3:45 am

i have large feet, size 15 (long and wide) and have always struggled to find shoes.
Riding a bike has made this situation worse.
until recently i wore a pair of steel capped work boots, and then got a pair of fox full length mx boots.

I realise that boots are euro sized, and my size would be a 51 or 52 eu (if you could ever find them), it just seems all the places I try have barbie sized shoes and boots

Question is, the MX boots are just about rooted, and am looking for a supplier of me sized road boots.
they have to be in sydney, as footwear this size varies not only by maker, but by model and batch (i have tried a rossi shoe which the left and the right were made in different weeks and they were different sizes; but 3/4 of an inch!) and i will have to try them on.

so, any ideas?
I am a bilingual illiterate; i can't read or write in two different languages

For comparison, I wear a 15 Nike sneaker and fit fine into a size 49 alpinestars smx5. Originally bought the size 50 but they were too big. They are also a pretty wide fit (once you get your feet in the things).

It would be worth checking them out.
