Riding to work - when you have to dress formal

There's a reason i only wear microfibre shirts. The bastards are almost impossible to crease, which makes for a bit of convenience when you ride to work. Also means i just need to take them out of the drier and throw them on a hanger and there aren't any creases.

That sounds like a great idea mate. can you suggest some brands that offer microfibre range of shirts?

Btw guys,

Been riding to work everyday regardless of weather. Wear full gear on top of a tshirt and trouser from home and put the shirt on at work. I carry a shirt and shoes with a bag with me.

Leave the laptop, compendium at work/client site over night.

Works out quite well. Rained pretty bad today on my way home from work, thanks to full synthetic rain proof gear I was dry when home

I always wear protective gears when i am doing biking or cycling. It protects from accidental situations.

Leave the stuff you need at work and change when you get there.
Anything you might find that's wearable over your business stuff might work - but it's more likely to just get your clothes crumpled, and be too hot.

+1 I leave clothes at work and get changed when I get there. It's especially good if it's been wet, all your clothes will still be dry

Having a quiet ouzo, reading this, yes i know its monday arvo, but what the .... no wife, no kids... just thort i would rub that in..... anyway, our friend sure seemed to stirr people up, memo.. must get lessions off him....
Back on subject.. i allways wore the right gear, allways, till i moved to darwin in 82 for a bit, by time i got back to brissy, i was wearing shorts, t shirt, thongs, and that buggered everyone up, cause they never ever saw me not in full gear. so it each and everyone to there own, but having said that, i had a mate go down in brissy years ago on a GSX1100 at speed, in shorts and t shirt, and those piks we see are nothin compared to skin he lost, and i mean he looks like a burns victim, as bad as it gets, beleave me. When i put my drag bike down in 83,it happened past the end of the strip, now this bike ran A comp in the day with a national record in the low nines, so it was over 150 mph.
Lots of broken bones, major head injury, yet not one mm of lost skin.
but each and all to there own.
