Boot zip repair/replacement

Postby laidback » Sat Aug 14, 2010 11:02 am

I broke the zip on one of my boots and the local yokel replaced the slider thingy but it doesn't work properly.

Can anyone suggest where I might be able to get the zip replaced?

Pretty much most (if not all) leather joints I would suggest, even check out if you have a saddlery nearby as leatherwork is there bag too.

I keep breaking the handle on the slider thingies. Most of mine now have the split rings off key rings as handles.

All of my snap swivels are at the bottom of the Murray; along with the tackle box.

All fixed mate...took to a saddler in town and he did it in a couple of days. Not perfect cosmetically but pretty good and works a treat. :kuda:
