My new leathers

After spending many hours annoying Phil at HiSide Leathers, it was decided that a set of Spyke leathers had to be purchased (as they're a slimmer make, they'd be the best fit) As NF importers are the distributors of Spke they don't wholesale to retailers and you have to buy directly from them, so after an ebay and internet search, the following set of leathers are now hanging in my cupboard.

I must say the fit is pretty good (bit like a second skin) and after I've worn it a couple of times and stretched it in, I'll take to Phil to get it adjusted slightly (bit more length in the leg, bit out of the waist etc). I got a size 56 and I'm 6'4" and 85kg. The quality is better than my Collins suit and I can actually stretch/spread my legs out (might get some knee down action now 8) )

And the total cost was $478 incl delivery and it arrived in less than 2 weeks compared to approx $1,400 from NF

This is the sight from where I got it from, they stock about 8 brands of suites and all seem to be alot cheaper than you can get here and they also do boots, gloves etc and the postage is ridicously cheap at $21.90 for the suit . The green Spyke suits were on sale for about $100 less than the other colours, but the other colours seem to be gone now. The site even has an $A converter so you can see everything in $A and also remember that the VAT gets taken off when you checkout (about $86 in my case)

I picked up a set of these 2nd hand from Blurr for trackdays. Best thing I ever did, by the end of my first session at PI wearing them I got the dreaded knee down bogey off my back. Very comfortable and nice price!
