Will probably be picking up a pair of these on the weekend for Fathers day. Had my eye on these since a friend let me try them on and they were very comfortable.
For $130 i cant seem to find a decent pair around that price so im pretty much set on them. just wondering if anyone has had a pair or currently still use these and if you could give any feedback.
Looking for wear over time, how much do they stretch? should i get one size smaller and wear them in. how are they in the cold/heat?

Mine were tight when I first got them, but stretched perfectly.
Only bad thing I would say is that the fingertips wore out very quickly, way too quickly as the leather seems to be rather thin there.

They are well ventilated so in winter are cold but are great in summer. They feel good and held up ok in my crash which involved a little slide on the road but my hand only touched down for a split second. They are very soft leather so are very comfortable.

Hi Owen, these are pretty good gloves, I've got my old pair still in my trackday box as spares. They do stretch a fair bit so get a smaller size if you can stand it, they do seem to feel a bit thin on the finger tips, but mine survived a commuting speed crash palms down & sliding for a few metres without being to worse for wear I was able to keep using them for some time afterwards, only bought new because they got too loose, I made the mistake of buying them to fit at the time.
They are pretty cold in the winter and of course, not waterproof but overall very good.
Matt

have to say i have had my joe rocket gloves for about a year and bit and they havent streched. Been off at 60ks and have a couple of scratchs on them so they are great for protection. Good choice dude.

I'm on my second pair, I wore thru the palm in one of my last set, I assume it was a weakness in the leather because the other glove was fine. They did stretch a bit but I love the gloves. The only trouble with getting a smaller size and then wearing them in is the hard protector rubs on the top of your hand until they fit. Just a tip, the vents on the top work well so in the cold weather just put some race tape across the vents.

i have a pair of the ones in the first post.
Not so good for riding in less than 12 or 13 degrees, hands friggen freeze
When i tried mine on in the shop they felt a little tight, but over time have streched a bit to fit pretty much perfect ( a little on the loose side now).
Got them probly about 1 1/2 years ago. Still going strong. No stiches undone as far as i can see, seem to be fairly good quality.

thanks for all the feedback guys. I tried on a pair of the alpine stars and thought they were pretty average for the price. They were very well made but i liked the thin goat skin fingers that the JRs have.
Also the JRs are a little more ventilated and i was after something i can year in summer as i already have winter gloves.
I ended up getting one size smaller, and you can certainly tell after a medium length ride. But over time they should stretch so im willing to put up with it.
The JRs also have a wider opening with double velcro so it was easier fitting those over my leathers stretched cuffs.
Maybe its my hands but any glove i try on the pinky always seems to be a bit longer than my hand, so thats the only finger with a bit of room.
In all, despite having them for a couple of days i love them

nah its the same with mine the pinky is always longer since they have to cater for different shape hands.
