Shrinking Leather

Ive got a set of gloves which, when new, were fantastic. 3 months on, the leather has stretched and now there is about 2-3cm gap from my fingertip to the gloves tip on the pinky and the thumb.

on a few occasions the gloves got wet from riding in the rain, and when this happens, it seems to shrink the leather and i get my comfortable fit back. However when they dry out, ive got giant fingers again. which isnt all that bad :kuda:

anyway, is there something i can do to permanently shrink the leather down?

What brand is the gloves ??

I've had loads of different bike gloves in my time, commuted every day and never had that problem.

Ohh the summer gloves.

The fact that they are mesh with very little leather might have something to do with it, but yeah they're not the best gloves ;)

U need to soak them in warm water, wash them in warm water then chuck them in the dryer. That should shrink the leather.

But don't keep them in the dryer too long cause it will take quiet a while to stretch them back out again. :D

Why is it that leather suits ONLY shrink horizontally ???
Mine fits me vertically BUT it's getting to be a right struggle to fasten the zip

Obviously the leather they used came from the underbelly of a Bull or the region close to it, because when I warm up I get longer too
