I saw the camo one at MCA's today...

The prices on the KBC's were higher than I expected, not much change from $500 for the top of the range one, putting it up there with the AGV's and such. The HJC's were a bit cheaper
I saw the new Nitro helmet and it looked great, I think the top of the range one was about $350... The vents loked very trick, the only problem was I tried on the M (my usual size) and I was swimming in it, so I then tried the S and that felt a little big too, dunno whats going on there... Does alchohol shrink your head.??

A personal thing I think.

I run a Shark RSF, great lid, only a little noisy.

My other lid, an ARAI 2004, was the the best of all taking into consideration noise, venting, looks etc. Problem is the front chin vent fell out and I couldn't find the bludger.

Anyone know where I can get it fixed??

Try contacting the Arai distributor here, or Arai themself. Tell them you've been an Arai buyer for a long, long time, and explain what happened. Let them know you're a little bit dissapointed with the build quality and put your name and address at the bottom of the email.

Normally works for me.

I have never been a big fan of the stupid eyes Nakano has on the top of his helmet, buthis new rep job from Arai looks pretty cool...

They're only $1150 to!

mate, i can say the AXO is a great lid, light,comfy, and crashes well (u
need to kno this being a racer)...id reccomend it....the XLITE (nolan) so
far seems ok, bit heavier, bit quiter, dunno how it crashes tho...
the AXO is a bit noisy, but if ur wearing earplugs, then u should b right...

ive seen the camo one in adelaide abt 15 times...it looks AWSUM IMO, but ive
seen it at 2 dealers, and on abt 10 riders...

yup..i like it so far...the visor recesses and i get very good aerodynamics
(none of that head buffetting)..tho i still prefer my old axo...xlite comes
stock with anti fog thing too...as yankee said, their made by nolan, and if
they did the stoner rep in aus i woulda bought that , the only stoner rep
they do is the $250 version, he wears a $700 version which is stronger &
better, i couldnt get that so i went xlite..yep they r italan

they have got those nitro's at my mates shop, they look pretty cool - although i havent tried one on.

as i said on the phone mate, dont buy one before we see what the boys can do

I'm pretty much settled on the Nitro, as I read it comes with adjustable cheek padding, which should fix up the fitting issue.
I'll try it on again and make sure its ok first..
