That's a really great read.... happy also knowing that my cheap Nitro fares well :o

Do you guys wear earplugs ? I tried this once and was so weird, I can only hear engine whirrs which are not audible normally. Difficult to adjust throttle too !

I wear ear plugs most of the time.
Haven't read the link yet - thought it interesting that Neka highjiacked the thread topic in the second post! :D

I think I'll buy the Davida Classic Jet, The open face with the flame job would just look so good with my Collins Leathers and the 10.

Good Article though mate. You'll have to get the BMW to go with your old mans bike :P

While you're at it do what Neka did and have a look at the can tests, particularly the dyno results with/without a power commander. Not all pipes are the same but with the Akrapovic the PC does nothing once you get to 40% throttle.

I guess the lesson is don't necessarily bother with a PC unless you're going the full system

Looking thru these tests, you don't always get what you pay for.

The leathers test in particular..

Very interesting read isn't it Dave!!!! After having a couple of the more "popular'" brands of leathers burst or tear open in the early racing days, I'm not surprised by one or two of the results. It would be interesting to see a more localised test done? I wonder how some of our stuff stacks up?

The Helmet tests were interesting. I may just have to go look at a BMW System lid! At least then I could flip up the chinpiece when I want a pipe or when Donna's frothed up the Latte's!
