Z1000 luggage options

Postby Ticketyman » Sat Dec 16, 2006 5:17 pm

I'm going to be doing the Goldy to Brissy commute next year on a daily basis. I'm also going to need to carry some gear, has anyone used the throw over saddlebags on a Z1000 or fitted a rear rack and bag. What's the best option? Anyone

i have a ventura rack for mine, i only put it on when i do trips but. i also have a little ventura bag that sits on my back seat, works quite well.

tankbag and option??? doubles at a tank cover/protector and something to lean on while freewaying.

i have the tankcover/bag option, its expandable, this pic shows how much you can stuff in it, and it doesn't get in the way either.

its not cheap, but has the added bonus if protecting the tank from stone chips and etc (and at the moment it's hiding the dent in the tank nicely :D)

just looking at that pic, it looks like a completely different bike.. the mod bug sure got me lol
