thanks guys,

another funny bit was as I was waiting for bloodtest, xray rtc... a male nurse walked by and seen the helmet, so he knew it was a bike related accident, so very softly, almost as if he was asking for a secret to be revealed, he asked :
were you speeding?

I said : I don't really know.....I was riding on the race track  :kuda: :kuda:

Thanks guys, I really appreciate your help yesterday as well as your very generous offers to help.

Good thing is that I can leave all rather physical tasks for later on and nothing is that urgent.

If, however one of you is a secret surgeon, who is good at titanium bolting bones together .........well step forward NOW

Pete
If you've busted your colar bone and you want it operated on I can highly recommend the guy that did mine (after a turn 8 incident).
Dr Bokor is his name and he's a shoulder specialist.
You'll get a lot of different opinions, some will say leave it, some will plate it, some will put a rod in it (then remove it when healed).
If its shortened, potruding or just looks bad think about getting it fixed, I'm glad I did.
I had a steel rod in mine for 4 months but its 100% now and as good as new (unlike the rest of me)...

and I don't bump my chin on the bone when I turn my head.

I feel for you brother!! More broken ribs than I care to remember, and a broken collar bone as a kid.

Sorry to hear of the off Pete, Hope you heal up soon mate.

When they're bolting up the shoulder, perhaps they could install a crash knob?
