hmm the cl-15's are about a week away, so I'd assume any other new models would be with them mate.. The rep was in the other day, I didn't ask if they were replacing the 11..

Would like to know if the problems (listed earlier) I have with the Suomy Spec 1R are common???

At some stage I will be looking at buying a new helmet and I'm sure that the salesperson will tell me how good the helmet is that they want to sell me .....

bit of a shame really that the only way to find out if a helmet is noisy/drafty/annoying is to buy it then ride with it then find out you don't like it and then wait till its buggered and then buy another :?
I live with fear everyday but on weekends she lets me ride.

Maybe the top of the range ones are OK ??
Sure seem to be some nice graphics there, that pin up/tattoo stuff looks great.
Even "cheap" AGV's are a bit bodgey (stuck on vents etc.).
IMHO better going for a top of the range "cheapie" (KBC, HJC etc.) rather than a bottom of the range "name" (Shoei, AGV, etc.)
All depends what fits your head best.
Just because you CAN ride, doesn't mean you SHOULD

Yeah, that seems to be the general opinion.....

Ok.... I think I will stick with KBC... they have done right by me so far....

Not at all, ARAI are just great quality and if you shop around you get bargains :supz:

I suppose it depends on how much you value your head. Would rather pay good money for a decent chance if i come off, god forbid :D

True, but there is a point where you start paying beyond the safety bracket and pay for the brand and design.
A helmet can only be that safe.
Arai has SNELL/DOT + AS approved, so does a HJC and many other brands.

Yep fair one RG :)

But when i buy a helmet i will pay up to £400 (ARAI). I will not buy anything under £150 -£200, but thats my choice. All to there own i say :D

Last day of the MotoGP they were flogging off the Suomy's in the Expo tent for $50, my son bought the Manuel Poggiali replica..... but ugly but for $50 it's a good spare.

For me ..... I prefer the Nolan.
