I picked up a pair of these on friday,
great gloves, nice and cheap too, unfortunately, they are getting hard to come by in canberra, only 4 pairs left for sale now, and apparently RST has run out

I dont think anyone would really think they replace leather.

Yup, just read the other post. Disappointing as they do have leather palms but the stitching amongst other things must be shite.

Oh well looks like I've got a $99 pair of thermal gardening gloves. I wonder if they can protect you from Funnel Web bites.....

Funny, I was searching high and low for a pair but couldn't find them anywhere, everyone was sold out! There's lots out there then.

Went to Mick Hone in melbourne on friday to get some new tyres,

tried on winter gloves while I was there since my ghetto plastic bag over summer gloves trick shamed me too much on my trip down to melbourne...

ended up with the top of the line Dainese gloves.

none of the others came close in comfort and feel, and they dropped the price to an even $200.

Cheers,

Daniel

I bought a pair last week. The RJays were a better fit and more supple, but after riding a wet 1500km on Friday and Saturday I'm happy to report that the RSTs do keep the water out. I'm a bit concerned now that they don't seem to hold up too well ...
Oh well, I wasn't planning to crash test them.

I just gave mine away to a mate who does a bit of enduro riding up in the mountains. They actually make a half reasonable winter enduro glove. I'll buy something else next winter.

I'll keep mine. I normally carry a second pair in case I get wet, so they can live in the bag with the spare visor. ;)
