I have used Dubbin daily before on Army boots. 2 years in one set of boots, never rotted, nor did the laces, though it did discolour them slightly so I am not game to try it on my new jacket.

Stitching could very well be different between them though.

I will give the renapur stuff a go.

As for the strip club comment. I already have the assless chaps, no reason to cut the ass out of a perfectly good pair of leathers. :lol: :lol: :lol:

My flatmate gave me some Emu Oil Wax to put on mine. Haven't really noticed much difference, other than it smells quite strong.

Saddle soap is the tops for leather - also grew up around horses. That's what I use on my leathers. I got a beeswax Leather Seal at the bike show, which seemed to be OK on my long wearing boots. Haven't used that on my leathers yet tho - just the boots.
