Just take your helmet down to radio workshops and have the radio techs fit them for you.

Oh, what? You don't have that facility available to you at work?

I was one of the first few to use the EX71 more than 2 yrs ago and almost everyone were having a go at me for using earphones while riding, blah blah blah... but now alot of ppl are using these earphones. I'm using my 3rd pair now.

I also have a pair of KOSS, stay away from them, they sux.

:!: :!: :!: Before anyone starts, I wanna say this:
For those who feel uncomfortable using earphones, or find that it is a distraction, don't use it!
Don't come preaching to us about 'but you can't hear other vehicles etc...'.
We are not stoopid, we ride within our own ability.
You cannot ride with earphones doesn't mean we cannot too.

Here is something I posted on another forum a few months back. I'm pleased to say the speakers are still going strong :)
************************

Ive always liked the thought of listening to music when riding the bike, but having tried it previously using ear buds I found them bloody annoying to try and keep in place, then uncomfortable as all hell actually wearing them for any longer then 5 mins. They also blocked out pretty much all other road noise which could be considered as a good or bad thing, personally I find it bad.

About a fortnight ago while doing my weekly browse of ebay I came across these:
Ebay - Helmet Speakers

Image

For less then $30 AU landed I figured I may as well give em a shot, and ordered 3 pairs. They rocked up a few days ago now and I have been wearing them on the bike ever since. They are possibly the best bloody bike related thing I have ever bought for $30. Cant even tell they are in the helmet, yet they are loud enough to give you a headache at max volume (connected to an ipod). Sound quality is also rather impressive for such a budget set of speakers.

Each speaker has a velcro pad on the back side of it, with another velcro pad included with a sticky back on it. This makes em very easy to install in helmets with a fabric lining, or straight against the helmets inner shell. The wires are pretty much the perfect length and I only had about 2 inches excess I had to coil up and tape down under one of the cheek pads.

If anyone else has a long boring trek to work like me (46km each way via freeway - nasty!), I thoroughly recommend you look into getting a pair to keep you entertained. Its certainly made my daily trek much more enjoyable. :)

As you can see from the pics the model of them is BIG NIC HP-88s, and you can buy them directly from helmetaudio.com. The only reason I got them from ebay is because of cheaper shipping for multiple items.

Nifty setup there Ninja 8) :P

I use the standard h/set that comes with any mp3 player one purchases.
Nothing wrong with listening to music either. I've neva had settings which
prohibit any outside noise & unless ya suicidal, no one would so I dont see
any probs whatsoeva with anyone who does wanna listen to music.

If its something that you find distracting, then dont do it; otherwise listen
to sum 2PAC. His shit will get you doing stuff U normally only do on the
Playstation
