Helmet problem

I bought some cheap $5 sunnies one day when I didn't have my visor with me. I lasted about 3 corners before I almost binned it - they gave me a "domed" vision which I couldn't notice except when I was using peripheral vision to plot my cornering!

I have this saying and I think it stem from being in the army. You can always fix everything with zip ties and gaffa tape.
1. Wearing your Noggin cover, mark out where the corner of your eyes level with the foam liner.
2. Depending on the size of the frame, mark on the foam allowing for just enough space for you to insert the arms on the frame.
3. Remove the foam from the helmet and use the zip ties along the line of the frame of your glasses, making sure that the locking knubs are going to be in between the outer shell and the foam. Use black zip ties or similar colour to the foam liner. Make sure it's tight so that it would pull the foam back.
4. With the gaffa tape, cut a strip long enough and wide enough to cover the zip ties on both ends. You don't have to do this but it would make sliding your glasses easier into your helmet.
5. Replace the foam liner into the helmet.
6. You don't have to do this but humour me anyway. Wear your glasses and helmet and giving yourself enough space run, launch yourself onto your bed face down doing a salmon movement and see if the glasses stays on. This is simulating you smacking face first onto the ground without damaging your helmet. Tell me how it goes and make sure that someone takes pics just before you land on the bed. I think everyone would like to see this. 8)

No worries. I had to do it for a mate with glasses. I still would like pics because I think I speak for everyone in saying that we could all use a good laugh.

Jeff :D
