looks like a bit of a bargain. just wondering about that tiny little strap holding it on. over the shoulders seems like it would be a lot better. anyone got one ?

Mine has 2 large velcro straps around the front, and also a couple of shoulder straps.

The shoulder ones really do sweet F.A!

I think $120 is about the going price at the moment.

I'd go to a shop and try one on under your gear.

Thats very similar to mine.
It seems to tuck in under my gear fine, and after few minutes you dont even notice it.

Do they work......?
Well you've seen the pics of my bike from the last get off, I landed on my back and walked away. Shoulders and neck were a bit sore days later, but my back was fine. 8)
Then again, some would say I don't have any back bone to hurt.

It's not that you have no back bone Matty, it's just that you're a spineless little &*^%@!

Dainese back protectors are fantastic, mine saved my back recently, theyre very comfy and constructed well.
If its being worn under a jacket the lack of shoulder straps shouldnt make any difference because the jacket will hold it in place.

I've seen back protectors before and thought they looked a bit gimmicky to be honest. Do they stop whiplash or does the helmet more do that?

Interested in getting a bike as my car just died. Just looking into what is out there regarding body protection.
