neck protector??

anyone have one of these? for road bike use. Would it suit sport bike riding/track days?

See that dainese has one but don't know who supplies them.

I have used them in speedway racing but not with bikes as they are too restrictrive, put it this way, If they worked with bikes then you would see more of them.

there is something similar which is compulsory in SX and MX....

one of the up and coming kids a couple of years ago cased a landing i think and is now in a wheel chair... his name escapes me at the moment...

for MX and SX i think its good but road riding maybe be too much of a hinderance in terms or head checks and so on??? just a thought
