ZX10R.... Raceglass fitted

Postby Jonno » Sun Nov 06, 2011 5:05 pm

Hopefully no one has this name of Childs Play for their track bike?

If so then I am open for suggestions...

Any how, it is as ready as will be for track days at least for now. :D

Here are some piccies... sorry about the light quality, but there should be some better ones after the KSRC PI trackdays in a little over a weeks time.

I am of mixed opinions about the glass kit, some of it is good other bits were tedious, the screen will vibrate like crazy being a bit flimbsy so I am looking for a better one.

Do I leave the tank black? or do I let Aardvarks kids loose on it and clearcoat the result

The orange really sets this bike off IMO

Fitting race glass is a royal PITA.
In time it will be lock-wired and a whole raft of goodies will be fitted, basically its at a stage where I am happy to ride track-days with it.

Finally put some stickers on the 6 and it is coming to PI as well.

Nice one Jonno... and Welcome to the team...
But remember, with great power comes great responsability.. :-)

(oh and the dots around the taof sticker are supposed to be removed - there just for aligning)

Thankyou, I will try and live up to it 8)

As we know when I get near stickers something embarrassing happens, but FMD those dots took forever to transfer and was wondering wtf are they for

By the way I need smaller versions of the taof sticker for the 10, not a lot of room for stickers really. RobR and Pete should be happy enough 8)

Next step is over to Strika's cave for some fine tuning 8)

Looks good mate. The black tank looks spot on with the colour scheme.
