Painting, clear over transfers

Gday, I am painting my repaired zzr250 tommorrow, solid colour, I am going to put some custom transfers over the solid, then clear coat over the top.
How long do I wait before putting on the transfers?
Do I have to put the clear over the top within a certain time frame?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Ben

Are you using 2K, enamel or Acrylic?
For 2K at least 3 days for enamel at least a week

But if possible leave it as long as long as you can to avoid delamination

Ben the main problem is the paint will still be curing once the surface is dry, if there are still solvents being leached through the surface the adhesive of the sticker might fail

Wait a least a week, when I repainted my ZX7R I didn't wait long enough and the stickers on the tank actually started to bubble up, they were only tiny bubles but there was lots of them and it was quite noticable, but the stupid spray painter cleared over the top of them anyway and I was stuck with them
