I'm thinking about repainting my bike in non standard colours.

I was thinking something like this:

I really like the look of this one which is where I got the idea:



Thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

if u got some metallic flake throught that gold it would look mint

Yeah I was thinking about matching the wheel colour so that I didn't have to repaint or change them.

Too much Gold mate, Maybe a thick & thin parallel Stripe along the same Axis would suit your needs ?.

try and find a few kandy colours. im after spraying my zxr250 soon and my painter showed me this book fo his which has the "house of kolor" shades, and types of paint schemes from kandy's to pearls to marbels.

i thinking of goin with a dark purple/violet kandy which should look alright.

so yeah try and find a kandy or pearl or something to make it unique.

I imagine the photo shop is most likely a little off in colour as it's disgusting. But I am sure with the right colour and some care and consideration, you could end up with an even more disgusting motorcycle!

You'll not be on a 250 for that long, then you'll want to upgrade and any money you spent painting it will be lost, It may even lower teh resale value of the bike.

I would go the other way actually, most beginners want something that looks cool and wouldnt know standard from custom, just that its different.
If you match it more to the 12 its based on its probably a good thing. Wont INCREASE resale but I dont think it will decrease it either.
Most also want a bike looks "bigger" in capacity than it actually is.

So, I'm just wondering if the Lawson 750 is the "Baby Lawson" wouln' tthat paint scheme make the GPX "The Baby Barge"

I think i twould look ok, but yes you do need the Metalic Gold

I love the black and gold colour scheme, the ZX12's look hot in it.
Would look great.
