'06 12R bits

Postby Shifty » Mon Mar 17, 2008 6:16 pm

Ok can't help myself. Had it for about four hours and I'm already keen to tinker... in fact I was already looking before I picked her up

So anyway I want:

1. Steering damper
2. Steering damper
3. Steering damper
4. Steering damper
5. Steering damper
6. Smoked clear indicator lenses
7. Undertail *without* indicators (ones on ebay seem to all have indicators integrated into them? gay gay gay)
8. Tinted/black screen.
9. Somewhere to spin her up on the dyno for a bit of a power run...
10. Other stuff to waste money on?

Anyone got suggestions about where I may find such parts at an economical rate? Bought both a new helmet *and* a new bike recently so I'm trying to economise at least a little!

Oh also does anyone want to buy a 12R exhaust & muzzy can? second hand but all looks perfect & as new. I think I'm gonna fit a full system, assuming I can get reasonable dollar for the one that's on there.

The steering dampers are hard to get, Serco does Hyperpro, but cant get em' and wont try, there as useless as tits on a bull to deal with. :?

Muzzy (Wolf Racing) do one that looks better and has a better mounting possy, but they retail for $900, I didn't pay that but thats what they charge.

Whats your budget, I might be able to suss something out ? ;)

I'll see how I'm sitting money-wise after the long weekend... I have a feeling I might be due for tyres.

I do like the Hyperpro one though, I've had two prices being $1450 installed from one place and $1000 supply only from another.

I'm pretty sure Serco have 12 ones in stock atm

And they are dear due to the large mounting plate, but an easy fitment

Did you try Tim at Superbike supply?
