G'day guys,

i was thinking of doing something different with the paint scheme on my bike. I have a Zx9R C model in a metallic blue colour which looks quite good. But i was thinking about changing it to something slightly different from normal as quite a few of my mates are panel beaters and painters.

Colour idea i had was to paint all the fairing in either a plain white or a pearl white. Having the frame painted or powder coated in a matt black. Then getting the rims painted in black also. Then replacing all teh stickers with black stickers.

let me know your oppions.

Sounds nice, but that particular blue is the best colour to ever grace a stock Kawasaki IMO. Be a bit of a shame to change it.

Well if you want to paint it white why not go for the ford cobra look,two blue stripes from the front fairing across the tank and tail,useing the same type of blue

You could add one of these on each side of the fairing - given the colour combo that you described initially !!

Seen a ZX7R painted in metallic pearl once, looked unreal! Go for it

maybe might go with the black and white idea then put a big RED stripe down the middle.... Cmon the Saints!!

a mate had his R1 in white...looked kinda cool, but was a bastard tyo keep clean...

well part reason is the piece of fairing is mismatched colour to the rest of hte bike and its clear as day to see that its been respreyed with the logos that have been covered over, so she needs some TLC, i mean the paint is good condition, but the resprey is obvious and there is mismatch colour also!
