Z750 fender eliminator

Didnt like the look of the original that Mrstompy put on (no offence) so I have got me hands on a resart eliminator & some clear indicators ..... still dont know about the size of the indicators but dont want to go too small for safety reasons..... anyway its only been on for 10 mins so its all still a bit fresh but I like the overall look....... comments?

needs smaller indicators though...

and a KSRC number plate surround... :wink:

No room for the moulded surround dave ....so i will make up a flat one like before but smaller

Great job Rob...

I like that way you mounted the number plate so the only way the cops can read it is when you have the front in mid air... :twisted:

Rear is a bit high because of the race stand... that is the standard angle of the supplied bracket! :shock:

looks good rob.

That looks heaps better than the eliminator that was on it which hung the plate too low i reckon.

Its great on the wet roads though cause it throws water and dirt up your back like a push bike :D

what other mods have you done to it? are you going to put a new can on it?

The mods are as follows

Bar end weights from the land of nippon
New Eliminator
slip on exhaust coming thanks to frozie (See pic) sexxxxy pipe
& suspension work booked in for next week by Terry
that will include gold valve emulator new springs real fork oil & up the rear well we will do the sag & have a fiddle with preload etc.

Cant wait for her to handle when pushed hard! should be like a totally different bike when the suspension work is finished

and as for the pipe well its really horn & will probly be the only one in OZ

Looks good Rob. The indicators like Daves would look pretty good I reckon.

It looks like the same elimibator as mine I think
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

its sooo clean, do you ever ride it?? :lol:

eliminator looks good, you need that angle on the plate, otherwise rocks hit the tail light and crack the lense like mine... i bent mine upwards the other day.

that pipe looks awesome.

actually the whole bike in the pic looks awesome...

i'd be interested to hear how it handles after the suspension mods.

Get to ride it every second day & just polished it after fitting so it should look clean! but not this morning after a little rain!

Rob, please post up on how she goes after the suspension is done, and if possible, an approx price? I have been thinking about getting the suspension on mine done, but I am not sure how much can be done and if it is worthwhile considering the limited suspension there is to play with!

Anne I plan on a detailed description once done
basically the work & parts could add up to round the $600 mark but worth it considering what the differance will be.

I have never used terry before but hoffy used him recently & came away smiling. I have used Radars (before he took of to QLD) on a few race bikes ... different stuff but the outcome should be the same :D

I rather like the clear indicators,where are they from and $$$$ please.
I have made a new rear fender eliminator for mine seeing as the guy i had bought the bike off had a go at it and made it from what looked like aluminium coke cans,yeah real strong....NOT!
Anyway it fell to bits after a few high speed runs resulting in one of my indicators left dangling on my rear wheel. :shock:
I have now made one from good thick steel sheet metal,i reckon the rear subframe will brake before this does. :lol: Also after having it apart i have noticed the crappy std kawasaki indicators have started to rust out inside where the globes go in and now i am having an intermittant bad connection,sometimes it works,sometimes it dont,so im lookin for new indicators and i dont like the small ones as i reckon they are hard to see,especially on a bright sunny day.Ps i would also be interested in how the suspension mods go.I am tossing up whether to get mine done and keep it or just leave it as is and flog it off in 6 to 12 months.I really like the look of the new naked thou.
