OK, whipped the plugs out, no spark. bugger.
quick burn over the gas cooker and a hit with the emry board and the plugs were as good as new.
in they went, should be OK now.
nup flattened the batter. bugger again.
jumped it and it sprung to life. sorta.
bugger for the third time, the chains as loose as brett's mum, and a little bit rusty (same analogy applies).
OK new chain req, may as well get new sprockets as well. well hey, may as well go down a tooth on the front sprocket. can't be that hard.
bought a chain breaker and riveter from PS with chain and sprockets. it broke. bugger for the fourth time.
so rossi brings out the grinder and centre punch, ooooh this is gonna be painful. and it was. rossi now has no fingertips left and invented half a dozen new swear-words.
broke the chain, sprockets off cleaned the crap out, new sprockets on, new chain on and we're good to go, right?
wrong. battery's still dead, not charging. massive bugger!
jumped it again and learnt what people mean when they say they can't keep the front wheel on the deck. love it!
all in all it was a big few days travelling from tullamarine to bentleigh and back 3 or 4 times.
but a big thanks to rossi, for pretty much doin all the work.
