I really liked the Pilot Powers on my 12 as well, just managed to squeeze 8k out of a pair........they were great right up to the end.
Some people have mentioned that the tend to 'let go' suddenly when they are worn, without any warning. I never had this happen, probably wasn't pushing it hard enough.......

Yup i've got powers on my 9, love em to death, have been the mouse in a game of cat & mouse with mates at eastern creek, cold, out of the pits and grippy by turn 2, no warmers needed.
have been told the Pilot Race take a bit to warm up, and the tread doesnt cover as much of the tyre, so if its wet they can be quite slippery, also take a bit to heat up, especially for commuting
Will definately be forking out the ridiculous amout for another set when due

I have it on my six just a month ago. Turns really quick compared to BT14. I don't like this (too quick that is). Want to have bit of neutral feel like BT14 and its gradual loos of traction.
But it seems to wear better than the BT (smooth wear not shredded wear).
My next tyre wouldn't be any of those (price factor). They will be shinkos yeah !

I've got Pilot Powers on the 10 at the moment. They seem pretty good, hang on well and don't seem to tear up like others do. I'd put them on again.

Mine started to move around a lot more towards the end, but they always gave plenty of warning when they did.

depends on how well you know the shop you are buying them at !!
for good-quality sports tyres like these, you can expect to pay somewhere between $450 and $500 fitted...........and worth every cent.

I have powers on my road 10 but dont like them at all. I prefer a softer tyre and will probably go back to Pirellis or Metzlers
