well i have my blown up engin and i foudn the engin number on that , looked in the same place on my new one and UHOH there no number :S not even a flat spot ( plate ) were it should be!

Any one know why that would be ? or were i could find it ??

i have a funny feeling it will be somewhere on the engine :shock:

its just a hunch but try looking harder

i did look !!!
I even pulled the frickin fairing off !!!

i even looked on the old engin and found it and looked in the same place on my new one and its not there !!!

Well on my 95 ZXR it was on the right hand side of the motor (When you are sitting on the bike) Ontop of the Case . I had problems finding mine thanks to there being so much Oil and shit Built up ontop of it.
I had to take the fairing off and move the fuel tank to see it

i think ur still looking in the wrong spot.

dont know many engines that have fairing.

the engine is the metal thing that makes noise

bve careful tho..if its making a noise it also might be HOT..dont touch it...
