Ohlins rear shock, its beautiful

Postby Phil » Thu Sep 16, 2004 12:20 pm

well i've just taken delivery of my new ohlins rear shock for my much loved 98 zx9r. :)

a big thankyou to Dave (ozzack) for the offer to buy it.

I'm hopefully gonna put it on on the weekend and hope to test it sunday with a ride thru the park with tim on the ohlins equipped 18 million dollar gpx.

its the full monty (46PRCLS) with the usual compression/rebound adjustment as well as hydraulic preload and ride height.....fark its sooooooo beautiful, im going out the back with it now, dont expect any more posts from me today :D

Didn't he only just get that shock? Or am I getting mixed up with another one that someone got recently? Anyway if it's so beautiful then I expect to see pictures of it...before your private interlude this afternoon puts sticky fingerprints on it

It may not be as pretty as an Ohlins but I quite like my WP shock :)

here is a better pic, for those you who know what you looking at you will notice that the remote preload adjuster is held in place by a nifty bracket that holds it to the compression resovoir (did i spell that right, eh who cares im too excited).

the blue knob at the bottom is my......oppps sorry the ride height adjuster.
