Welcome Stone. Can't help you with your question, but I'm sure someone here can.

Can you please reduce the size of your signature pic. Read the second post here: http://www.ksrc-au.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5766 for guidelines.

Thanks.

Didn't know Kawasaki made any V-Twins. My neighbour however has a Kawasaki V-Twin at work in some sort of carpet cleaning machine. What model bike(s) did Kawasaki make in V-twins?

Kwakka V-Twin history started with the forgettable VN750 Vulcan of 1985.
VN 1500 followed in 1987, (also known as the VN15 in some markets) and in 1996 this was *upgraded* to the VN1500 'Classic'. Now you can get a 'Mean Streak' (which sounds almost as bad as a BigBadNightFatBoyBob)

All other *cruisers* made by the big K were either parallel twins or inline 4's.Most of them are very ordinary. Anyone remember the SR650?? :x , the Yanks were *heaps* worse with 'Custom' and 'Classic' plastered over heaps of otherwise 'normal' motorcycles.....

ps - Stone - mate I love that siggie !!! :P regular forum contributors will not find this a surprise

perhaps you could just cut the 'Stone' logo out of the picture, and use that as your siggie......

and in some late-breaking news, the poster for the Stone 25th Anniversary Run, held back in 1998, available to all and sundry in Live To Ride for about $6.00?.........a laminated copy just went on e-bay for $50 or thereabouts......I think I have about 20 of that issue stashed away

:D

The TL lump was so good Suzuki detuned it and put it in a DL1000 VStrom. The bike was so ugly Kawasaki took it on and called it a KLV1000 there's another "Kawasaki" V twin.

If the "Stone" and the "Take the trip" (good suggestion, btw) were both moved to the right of the main pic, it'd look more betterer...

Back onto the main topic... hmmm, Kwaka twins... anyone else hoping they do some interesting things with the ER-6 engine? Like, bore it out and make a VTR1000-basher out of it...
