Quick question for the learned brothers.

On the GPX wiring loom there is an earth connection that comes out of the main loom just near the rear of the tank. I am a little confused as to where this attaches. If anyone has any tips I'd be most grateful.

The recommission itself is coming along and just waiting for the tank to be finished. Good thing is that my painter now has a decal set for the black GPX on his file including those fade at first light GSCS decals for the fork legs. I need to track down why the ignition circuit isn't working and the a couple of other electrickery gremlins but getting there. Still amazed at how small the bike actually is compared to some of the other '80's behemoths that were around.

I know the one you mean. There are not many frame earths so they need to be working right.

As I recall, testers at the time remarked at how it felt closer to a 600 than a 750 (I suppose as much as a 600 with a 22 litre tank could feel).

Comparing the Resurrection GPX with my RC17, just look at the difference in handlebar heights and the length of the fork inners:

You should see the GPX next to my CBR1000F from the same year. Seems that as Honda got bigger Kawasaki were heading the other way.

Tank shots, pick it up Saturday. I'm disappointed I didn't take a before shot as this tank was bright blue, had about 8 layers of different paint on it and had a crappy liner in it!
