Centre stand and muffler GT750

Postby sovti » Sun Mar 08, 2015 11:22 am

My old GT is having it's second tart up in the thirty years I've had it. Years ago I bent the kick lever part of the centre stand way out of shape and haven't used it since. Would anyone with access to an 83 GT be able to provide me with a photo of where the lever is supposed to be in the up position? After the last rebuild (810 Wiseco, new shocks, cams dialed in,etc.) I had a Formula One 4into one kit fitted. Never been real happy with the muffler, pretty annoying high pitched sound when riding over a long distance. Any idea on a suitable replacement? Bearing in mind a 50mm collar on the down pipes and it can't be chrome. And yes it's worth another rebuild, still the best, solidist allround bike ever made.
