wheel weights.. As in how heavy???

Postby Arkup » Sat Oct 11, 2014 1:53 am

Hi peoples,
I am trying to reduce a bit of weight off my 1000J P5 bike... which has a 1988 Gsxr750 front wheel in it atm, and having a bit of a refurbish. So if anyone out there has any accurate weights of any late model 3 spoke 17"x3.5" wheels,.... post them up.
I'm thinking.. ZX6 or ZX7 maybe.Even a Suzuki GSXR 600 ,750, 1000.
I am running a 95'model ZX6 5.00 inch rear atm (perfect size rear for the bike).
Cheers, and thanks
might see a few of yas' at the GP next weekend!

Hi Steve - mate I have a couple of ZX6 front rims, will weigh them up and let you know. They are F/G model mags - mid-90's, so not the latest tackle - pretty sure the later you go the lighter the wheels get ?
