K&N air filter

Postby Cshat » Tue May 20, 2014 4:39 pm

Do I need a power commander after fitting a k&N air filter to my bike?
Considering its a 2010 z750 am I correct in saying if the airflow increases due to a hi-flow filter then the computer will increase fuel to compensate for the lean mixture,
If I'm wrong then why do they sell them and advertise no remapping required,
I love all bikes, but the naked ones get me going

So my bike now has a K&N air filter in it and I must say I'm impressed with the smoothness and throttle response, initial power response is smoother probably not much if any HP gain but I have noticed that in 6th gear at 60kph it pulls away a lot quicker and smoother, rev range is 500rpm lower,
So all in all I'm very happy with my purchase
