D.I.D. chain & sprockets- any good?

Postby jd2316 » Wed Mar 26, 2014 1:06 pm

Ok, so Im going thru the 99 zx9 I got a few months ago and its time to replace the chain & sprockets. Heard a few good things about D.I.D. but want to ask if any one has experience with them, as I recently bought a shit clutch kit that didnt even have the right springs. Any good?

any of the name brands will do the job - DID, RK, Takasago etc. All good :kuda:

Avoid the cheap Chinese chains on ebay though - they really are crap. I have had a couple of bikes through the workshop with these fitted and they are absolute garbage.

I run the same chain on my 10 and Leanne's 6. They are a good thing.

DID - always good. Use top of the range if you can afford it.

My favourite supplier: http://www.chaingangchainsandsprockets.com.au/

They also do sprockets.

I prefer EK chains to DID for a nine MVX model does the goods or if your really hard on chains ZZZ will more than cover it.Pretty sure EK is the original kawasaki chain supplier unless things have changed.
