Thanks mate, I'm still having issues connecting.
I have installed the drivers but I keep getting the same issue which says:
"Com port could not be opened, please ensure you have the iterface plugged in and drivers installed"
??? I've checked that the computer is recognizing the device, which it is, but it still won't talk to it...

Justin spent from 11pm to 1am trying to sort out my issue but we had a poor remote connection that kept dropping out.
So I took my bike to the guys from road & circuit who dyno tune bikes using the Woolich racing software and they found that 1 of my connections wasn't crimped down properly..
They are going to run it on the dyno and build a map for me while its out there, my plan was to try and fine tune a map myself for a few months before taking it for a run on the dyno but I'm just happy to have found the issue..
Thanks for your help mate I'll post up some results from the dyno once I get the bike back..

Im up and running, thanks again for taking the time out to have a chat the other day, i had a free dyno session from a mob down here in sydney so i took it out there yesterday, the numbers look modest but the difference in the smoothness of power delivery is great. i thinks its a good starting point and im interested to see if i can improve on this map.
I noticed that the zx10r may not have safety maps like the zx14r?
Also i have the stand alone Translogic quickshifter on now, wow what a difference that makes! im seriously concerned for my demerit points on my licence :(
