Hi Guys,

I need some advise. I'm looking to get better performance from my zx6r 2010 and looking at power commanaders. I have a MGP growler exhaust on the bike and want to know if installing a power commander will deliver increased performance.

What sort of BHP increase and I expect..? who in Melbourne can install..?

Any info would be great, thanks

It shouldn't increase your hp figures by much at all.

It will however smooth out your throttle response, power curve and fuel consumption.

You'll be lucky to get and extra 2-3hp

Strongest improvement for the road is dropping a tooth on the front sprocket. It will feel like you gains 20% more power for $20. Really how often are you going over 250kms anyway?

Listen to Blurr he is wise.

But if you don't want to......

To see any improvement in hp you need a full system and and a pc. Even then it will only be around 8-10hp.

Pc alone will only give you smoother throttle and maybe 1hp if your lucky. But if you do chose to do any of these things Dynoverks in boronia is the place I use in Melb.
Go and have a chat to Deano and tell him I sent you there.

Do the front sprocket thing, best bang for your buck.

And if you do go after the hp improvement a PCV might give you, get the Bazzaz QS instead and enjoy the awesomeness of its quickshifter as well... :kuda:

Do the front sprocket either way, can't lose!

Does dropping a tooth limit top end speed..? I do 250KPH maybe twice a track day, twice a year, will it give me better bottom end.

Is 250km/hr on the rev limiter in 6th?

Doubt it.
Drop a tooth!

Realistically I doubt your doing 250 I assume your talking PI?
If it indicates your doing 250 its more like 220.
Trust me I have the same bike with one tooth down at the front and one up at the rear and the last time I was at PI I was doing a true 244km/h from a GPS topping out in 6th at the end of the straight

Buy a zx10r..Shit loads power and shit loads of fun.

Forget PCV...look into Woolich racing and they are Aussie based.
