Arrow Exhausts

Postby icebreaker » Fri Jul 27, 2012 9:44 pm

Well the exhaust I bought from Vic Motorcycle Wreckers turned up this arvo. Can't fit it until after the road worthy gets done.

I was wondering if anyone knows what Arrow systems are like, power gains and how they compare to say Akro's and Micron's. I'm also trying to work out what sort it is, as I believe Arrow do 2 types a road and a race. From pics on Arrow's site all I can tell is that the can is a Titanium Oval. The headers themself are a little different to the ones I've seen pics of. There is a tiny pipe link between cyclinder 1 and 4, and 2 and 3 part way down the header. And they are 4 - 2 - 1, not 4 - 1 like I thought they would be. I thought my old Akro system was a 4-1.

I'll post a pic tomorrow when I can.

Cheers,

Dan

Arrow make pretty good exhausts!

Does it matter if it's road or race really?
As long as it looks cool and runs ok :kuda:

Well no it doesn't matter. But it is always nice to know what you have.

The "tiny pipe link" is supposed to improve midrange response once the bike is properly tuned. The akro I had on the R6 had it, the Leo Vince I have on the ZX6R has it too!

Hmm. I thought it was one. But I guess it was a few years ago now.
Just checked my old zx6 pics and the radiator is in the way.
