Fuel storage

Ok so I have the tank from my bike in for a respray thanks to some f'n arsewipe deciding to key it one day while I was at work.. so just wondering how long I can keep the fuel for?

According to Shell Australia’s Technical Advice Centre Manager, Warren Scott, you can generally store fuel in a sealed container for around six months before it starts to deteriorate.
This assumes it’s kept relatively cool and away from direct sunlight.
Longer than you need!

I sure hope so, if my tank is still waiting to be painted in 6 months i'll be pulling it outta there damn quick :) Not Scotty doing the painting incidentally.
