Hello,

I going to need new tyres shortly and would like some feedback on which ones to buy. I mainly do road riding with maybe two track days a year. Mostly dry weather riding as I don't commute to work on the bike.

Please let me know make and model along with approx cost for both front a rear, cheers.

Horses for courses.

Just get a brand you like and stick with them. Different opinions for different people. You never get any agreeable feedback other than most manufactures produce a tyre for most applications as you mentioned above.

You will get a list of tyres from this question and will still have to make your own choice.

Ive had the Dunflop Q2's on mine. The rear is at the wear marker after 6000km's of probably 2/3 commuting but hopefully will squeeze another 1000 or so outta it  Grip has been good in both dry and wet. When really giving it some they do leave black lines and let you know they have on full throttle out of a twisty but they never completely let go or felt uncontrollable if that makes sense. The Superbike School at the trackdays use them so they must be an alright track tyre. I reckon Ill get through another rear and keep the front for that duration. I got to the edge of the OEM tyre but have never got to the edge of these  but Ive noticed alot of bikes using the Q2's have the same affliction. Havent tried anything else on this bike apart from the OEM Bridgy's which were good for about 2000km but started to slide around a bit which apparently is normal for the OEM verion but been told the normal 016's you get here are much better. So I cant really compare for you sorry. HTH but has prolly just confused you more :kuda:
