Check that your battery has all its fluids at the right level, if they are up to level, new battery.

Best thing you can do is install a trickle charge system into your bike that way it will last longer and that way you can keep it on charge over night ;) Im not sure on brand names for these but im sure you can find some on ebay for cheaps! :kuda:

I'd check the output of the charging system too after you get it running again, should be between 14-14.5v between terminals at around 5000rpm. Costs nothing and might save your new battery.

If it is going flat, then the batteyr is on it's way out anyway. I have left mine for three or four months at a time, come out, hit the starter and after the junk fuel has passed through fired up everytime. If it didn't I knew the flattery was going bat!!!! Watch it if a cell completely drops out, as modern bikes use the battery as a capacitor and if there is no current then there is no power regardless of the charging system working.. Been there, had to dink a mate home to get my trailer......Got to ride his Ohlins equiped CBR954 which was nice though. Better bike than the CBR1000's until this year I reckon.

i use this one and its great - has a plug you can attach somewhere under your fairing so you dont have to remove the seat when you want to plug into the charger
