Tyre pressure gauge

What do you use for checking the pressures in your tyres??

I was using a digital gauge from SuperCheap but after today i think i need to invest in a decent one.

Checked the pressure in my fron tyre last Sat before i went for a ride and needed to repalce the rear today due to a puncture and the tyre guy said my fron pressure was 22psi in the front. Didn't feel any different from yesterday or any other time i've rode the bike so i reckon my gauge is fecked.

I never use the one on the compressor lol.

I once made the mistake of asking a race driver (not rider) which one his team used... Boy was that man excited about the topic!!!

Anyway, what I took away from it (besides a diminishing hearing ability) was that LONGACRE made some pretty good ones and that I had to buy the one that had the limit closest to my use (i.e. if you use your tyres at 35psi you don't need one that can read all the way up to 100).

They have a bunch of different models but the best bang for bucks (and this is only MY OPINION!) is this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LONGACRE ... veQ5fTools

reads all the way up to 60psi in 1psi increments.

Not the cheapest, hey?!

This is what I use... the ducks guts & made in the states.

the 0-40 range is plenty accurate & it has true zero technology with no pin to artificially hold the pointer on zero ;)
These guys are clients of mine... could possibly get a better price & send one up for you :D

I use two. An "Accugauge" which is similar to the one Rob posted a pic of. The other is a Michelin gauge. It's the best in my opinion, just don't drop it, as this farks them quicksmart.

Do they go up any further than 40??? The tyres on my bike are meant to be at 42psi on the rear and 36 on the front, CBR600RR.
