Slick tyre newbie

Ok...just had a chat with a tyre man and he was tell me that if I install a 200/55 rear on my 2010 zx10r , I'll need to add link to my chain.

It would to slow for compared to your beast....Why would you want to ride it... your bike has all the bling(ohlins, etc)
