I've got an aftermarket slip on at the moment, and thinking of getting a power commander. What benefits can I expect..? I've got a ZX6R 2010. I know the exhaust will most likely stop popping, what amount of extra horse power can I expect...? Do I need to map every gear..?
Any info would be appreciated, thanks

A few HP but more torque and a much smoother power delivery on and off the throttle
You get a map on the dyno at certain rpm's or you can get the auto tune and do your own to a degree

The power commander will help performance but I doubt it will stop your popping on decel. The clean air system causes that by injecting air in the exhaust port to burn unburned fuel in the exhaust port, (see your owners manual). It can be disconnected without adverse affects but that depends on your emission regulations where you live. Jim Beam helps!

Nah wont stop popping......i have PCV and auto tune and it wont stop popping unless u detune it to the max. Yeah there is a bit of a gain in HP but more of a smoothness through the rev range.
Y would u want to get rid of the popping? it sounds awsum going through town with people shitting themselves.
