Hey guys, can anyone shed any light on how to find out the paint code for the 2003 zx9 in comet blue?

I have looked at a couple of sites but they dont seem to list this colour.

Your paint is a 2 stage paint and therefore also requires a specific base paint, Candys for example, rely on a really shiny metallic base paint to provide the metallic content. Non-candys that require a base paint are very transparent and hence need the basepaint to create the depth of colour.
I suggest you visit a local paint sprayer or smash repair centre as you'll also need to factor in the weathering of the original fairings...
If you were in Victoria? I would suggest

Icebreaker sent his back to the repairers about 4 times before he was satisfied with the paint matching the original after a smash
