Hello,

Just got back after driving around for over an hour in and around the penrith area looking for some touch up paint in the kawa green colour, went to local kawa shop and have been given the code "777" but none of the auto paint suppliers can find this code.

Any ideas?

Take something on the bike (guard, tank) in the colour you want to match to Autowest in UNIT 9, 61 REGENTVILLE ROAD Penrith.
They will colour match it. I had mine done there and its pretty good.
Its about $50 for 500ml, and you'll need some hardener too..

I have a stack of 2K paint in the official racing green colour / same used for the 04 onwards road & race bikes & is the colour KHI uses as the main green.

The 04 zx10r road bike green is different to the 05 green, and the 08 green may be different again ..???

True, but for touch up the colour would be pretty close, I take it this is for the 2010 ZX10R Baddie?

Jason @ Autowest Penrith, in fact any of the boys in there are damn good. Kawasaki Green has so many variations and the colour formulations don't normally get released to all paint/ pigment suppliers.
Tough one usually but AW will sort ya out. 3 Differennt mixes on the Zed and no one can tell :D

I have never used this site as my Z has a color of my own creation, but all the U.S. dealers use them for touch up and duplicates for complete paint jobs, and my local dealer swears by them, (not at them). Not sure if they ship to Australia, if not let me know as maybe I can order it to my house and ship it from here. I don't know what the regulations are for shipping flammable liquids through the post however. I've shipped stuff for other KSRC members before but never flammables. Cheers.

I'll second Mototech Smithfield. They do most of the new bike repair work.

oldman, no they won't ship to Australia for the very reason you pointed out, that being said, the paint codes are good worldwide I would have thought so grab the code and head to some paint shop.

Its called "Kawasaki lime green". I got some mixed up to tuch up some stone chips from graham betts Holden in armidale. They are the PPG paint reps up there. Give them a call and they will give you the PPG formula. Take it to anybody that deals in PPG and they can mix it for you.
