Hi,
I noticed Dunlop has Sportsmarts advertised in OZ MCN so I was wondering if anyone here has got a set yet? Some big claims of track focussed hi sport handling and touring milage- ( BTW these are not Roadsmarts)

I have a 2004 Z1000 and just put on a pair of Michelin Power Pures and am shocked how the light weight of these tires improved the handling. I know this is not the question you asked but I had to put in my 2.34543987678999 cents. If you go with the Dunlops let us know what you think.

Hey
totally agree with the power pures, just put some on the wifes ZX6R and it transformed it even she is muscling it around like never before, and helped her to pick here pace up in the twistys straight after fitting them! so Ill go for power pures too if the sportsmarts are hard to find!

I just put a power pure on the back (have a pilot power on the front still) not much difference in my opinion, but that is the rear only, the real telling is in the front.

I know one thing about the Pilot Pure. It doesn't work well with a PR2 rear! It seems to grip ok, but fights with the rear PR2's shape.

I have only done a couple of thousand k's on it and they were easy k's so I can't estimate life yet, but others I know who ride similarly to me are wearing them out within 3K, so they are obviously soft.

Yeah i have tried the pure now at the track and a good fast road ride..

The rear let go on the track nearly high siding me and on the road they felt ok grip wise but they feel really squishy.. I think i still prefer the original pilot power for grip and feel..Can ya still buy em? May have to go back to rossos.. 8)
